Chapter 3: Ethical and Social Responsibility
There are certain guidelines that a company must abide by. People may not feel that these guidelines fit, but there are essential to a company's growth. These are called Ethics and Social Responsibility. As stated in Chapter 3 of the Marketing text, ethics refer to the standard of behavior by which conduct is judged. The Apple company follows these guidelines perfectly. One of the most successful companies in history, has a responsibility of meeting consumers needs in such a fast- paced society. Not only must they give the people what they want, but they must do it in a responsible manner. Apple prides itself on following strict Ethical responsibility to ensure that their company meets technological and social needs. They show confidence by providing consumers with newly-updated technology around the clock, ensuring you that you will not be dissapointed with your investment. They show confidentiality by assuring no one in their company is revealing knowledgeable information that may harm the company. And lastly, Apple shows a huge amount of respect not only to it's customers, but to it's staff, in effort to be a stronger, more successful company.
